By launching the first full hybrid vehicle diesel - hybrid 3008 April - Peugeot will write a new chapter in automotive history. The combination of a fuel-efficient 2.0-liter 163 bhp HDi 37 bhp diesel engine and an electric motor is the optimal combination for a hybrid vehicle. Unlike previous hybrids that have chosen to use a gasoline engine of less fuel consumption, the 3008 HYbrid4 diesel engine provides better 74.4mpg combined fuel consumption and CO2 emissions 99g/km driving cycle.
