Not to be outdone by Toyota, who unveiled their 2010 Tundra last week, Chrysler LLC unveiled a new line of commercial versions of its Dodge Ram truck�the 2500 and 3500 heavy-duty trucks and the 3500, 4500 and 5500 Chassis Cabs�at the Chicago Auto Show.
The most notable thing about these new trucks is that for the first time, Chrysler is making them available with large crew cabs. Now you can take the whole crew out to a job, because the trucks can carry 5-6 passengers without cramming them in there.

Are these trucks a good deal during a recession when trucks are less attractive and the #1 industry that people use these vehicles for (construction) is hurting worse than most? Let�s wait for Chrysler to announce the price before we make that decision.
Executive Vice President for Product Development Frank Klegon said at the Chicago Auto Show that the 2010 trucks, due out in the fall, give Dodge the newest truck lineup in the industry.

First there were the spy shots of the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and now there are the shots of the 2011 Dodge charger albeit in a tuned up setting as the model comes into the market in a completely new design.
The new face of the Charger gives away what the camouflage holds underneath its cover. The look though is a sleeker and bolder one. The tail lamp is expected to be of the horizontal bar design which is also the one that the Dodge Challenger sports. During testing phase, the car had a 556 HP Cadillac CTS-V installed on it. This engine has been used by Chrysler during performance benchmarking tests for its Charger SRT8.

Shopping for new custom wheels for your car or truck is not an easy task.. First you have to decide from thousands of different sizes and styles and that can be down right mind boggling to say the least. So let�s simplify things about and answer a few questions okay.
The first question to ask yourself is what is my budget? This will determine many things such as do I need to stick with the stock size since going bigger means I need new tires as well. Can I afford chrome or do I need to stick with painted or polished aluminum or even steel? Chrome wheels are generally much more in case anyone is wondering.

Dodge has just released these first photos of the 2011 Charger sedan.
In a full release, Dodge says the 2011 Dodge Charger �will rev up showrooms during the fourth quarter of 2010.�
Earlier this year, Chrysler began trickling out some images of its revamped 2011 lineup, including the 2011 Jeep Wrangler, 2011 Chrysler Town & Country, and the upcoming Fiat 500 Sport.
Today�s release confirmed the Charger�s heavily revised sheetmetal is a return of sorts to the flowing lines of some of Dodge�s sedans from the 1990s�with hints of the Charger�s Sixties ancestors, Chrysler says. In the release, the Charger�s interior is played up as a �seamless� and �highly detailed� environment, though no official photos of the dash were released.

The release of the 2011 Dodge Challenger is nearly up on us, so we thought it fitting to take a look at the new incarnation of this classic and see whats new!
Obviously the retro style stays, and who would complain about that? Looks like the 2011 Dodge Challenger will be get a 6.4L boasting around 500bhp and be more fuel efficient than the 6.1L unit currently found in the 2010 Dodge Challenger. Other changes for the 2011 Dodge Challenger include the usual raft of minor cosmetic changes and some reworking of the mechanicals.

t's no news that the 300's been a hit for Chrysler � and we here at the Jalop obviously are fans of the Dodge Charger SRT8, and the new Dodge Challenger's certainly got itself a purdy mouth. But there's potentially going to be some fuel economy issues inherent with a RWD, Hemi-powered platform given the current desire by Washington to focus toward beating up automakers and away from a more common-sensical Euro approach to increasing fuel economy. So what's the three-headed dog-owned car company going to do? According to the website for the lovers, the dreamers and me the answer is � not a whole lot.

This image reveals a sloping belt line and strong curve building from the front to the shoulders, reminiscent of the 1999 Dodge RT Charger Concept (below) it seems to borrow heavily from. We�re also told the new Charger initially had rear door handles in the roof line rather than the door panel � giving it a two-door look
� but this was eventually dropped. Any other details stick out?
We used to have a 1994 Mazda Protoge similar to the one being crushed by the monster truck. That car was one of the most reliable cars we�ve ever had. It just kept on going and going. We finally got rid of it in 2008 and got a Pacifica just because we wanted a larger car with all the safety features.
