Apparently BMW didn�t get the memo when they thought up a name for their new flagship sedan / four door coupe. Hello, BMW, have you ever heard of a little company called ? They have a Gran Turismo, too. And they�re an actual Italian company. The BMW Gran Turismo ( How do you say that in German, anyway? ) is expected to launch for the 2010 model year.

I know there are tons of you out there who aren�t fans of the �four door coupe� moniker, but I didn�t make it up, so don�t shoot me. The roofline is pretty sweet though, you have to admit that.Pictured here is the BMW CS concept, which the Gran Turismo is likely to be based on. This super sedan / coupe will be longer and wider than BMW�s current big dog, the 7 series. Power will probably come from your choice of a V8 or V12 engine. Pricing should start around the $150,000 mark, so poor folk need not apply.

Greater emphasis of the vehicle�s power and sporty character likewise characterises the rear view of the new BMW 3-Series. To achieve this effect, the rear bumpers, rear lights and luggage compartment handle have been completely redesigned. The dual section rear lights are now structured according to the characteristic BMW L shape. The widened track of the new BMW 3-Series especially contributes to its powerful appearance. Depending on the model, the track of the rear axle has been widened by up to 24 millimetres by means of a new wheel carrier and other modified details.

BMW X1 is the last SUV built by BMW. Now I see that BMW X1 looks pretty much like BMW X5; maybe this is the base design but smaller, and more important, cheaper, much more cheaper. BMW X1 is about to be launched in 2011 or probably next year, in 2010.

I just realised that BMW X1 will be available in diesel versions; thing that not really makes me happy. If you�re looking for a BMW X1, you can go for Performance Control introduced by BMW on X6. A very weird fact for me, is that BMW X1 weights just 1660 kg. I mean my car that is not a SUV, is a normal small car, weights over 2000 kg.

The times of shaky oil burners are over. But the diesel engine still has a rather stale image. Now JE DESIGN is taking on this prejudice.
The refiner located in Leingarten, Germany enhances the performance of the already agile turbo diesel in the VW Scirocco with an additional control unit by more than twenty-five percent from 140 hp (103 kW) to 180 hp (133 kW).

Also the maximum torque increases from 320 to 400 Newton metres at 1,750 to 2,500 r.p.m. respectively. The maximum speed thereby rises from 207 km/h to 213 km/h, and the acceleration from zero to hundred is reduced by 0.9 seconds to 8.4 seconds.

Also for the new 2.0 TDI CR, JE DESIGN offers a performance enhancement of 170 hp (125 kW) to 205 hp (171 kW). With that, the Scirocco then renders a top speed of 229 km/h (serial model: 222 km/h) and accelerates from zero to hundred in 7.1 seconds (serial model: 7.8 seconds). The torque rises to 410 Newton metres (serial model: 350 Nm)
